Space Invaders

I remember when I was a kid I would walk home instead of taking the bus so I could spend my money at the video arcade. I loved space invaders. My dream was for my family to buy one of those space invaders T.V. games that you hook up to your television set and play for free. When I think back, I can't really understand how this game had such a hold on me. All it was was some strange looking space crafts slowly coming closer and shooting at you. Very simple really, but genius in it's simplicity. It was so easy that you learned how to play it in less than a minute. Then you would spend hours and your whole allowance trying to get to the highest level.
